Skinspiration...Our Little Sister

We would like to introduce our little sister to you. This is Somaly and she is our little 'Sister'

Through the Bestow Sisterhood, in partnership with the Cambodia Charitable Trust, La Beauté is sponsoring Somaly to enable her to get an education and create a bright future for herself.

Being born in New Zealand we are fortunate to have access to an education, giving us possibilities; the ability to dream and create a bright positive life.

Education is something that is often not possible for many Cambodian children, particularly girls. Many of the girls who don't go to school and get an education become vulnerable to sex trafficking or can end up married and bearing children at an extremely young age - both are horrific thoughts!
We want to break this cycle and give Somaly the opportunity to live with freedom, dignity and possibilities.

We are part of the Bestow Sisterhood; which is a collective of beauty therapists and skincare clinics throughout New Zealand who have banded together and are creating a brighter future for rural Cambodian girls, by sponsoring their education, school materials and basic hygiene supplies.

How this all came about..
About a year ago both myself and Linda attended a Bestow/Janesce skin conference held by Janine Tait (the creator and distributor of these brands). At this conference Janine's sister Denise got up and spoke about her charitable trust, Cambodian Charitable Trust, the story that she told made me think; I have been so fortunate to have had an education, to enhance my life and to turn my dream into a reality and I wanted La Beauté to offer this to another young woman.
Somaly will now gain an education, which will not only further her life in a positive manner but also help others.

This is with your help…
Your support of La Beauté enables us to sponsor Somlay, so she is as much our sister as yours!
As well as many of you purchasing and enjoying 'Bestow Generositea Tea' (containing; 100% organic lemongrass, peppermint & hibiscus) - this tea in the Bestow Tea range was created to give back, with all profits going to the Cambodian Charitable Trust.

I love that our services and my days are dedicated to women and their wellness and now we extend that wellness to a young woman, our sister, on the other side of the world, to give her a brighter more confident future.
